Lichttechnisch
Dylans Rossers
Bilder sind somit ästhetisch vollkommen durchkomponierte Männerporträts
der besonderen Art.

For
the last 5 years I have been living and working in London and only
started experimenting with male nude photography a few years ago. I
was born in South Africa and grew up in Cape Town where I studied
graphic design and advertising. This led to a career in magazine
design, which is still my main occupation. I wish I had more time
for my photography but it has not yet proved a good way to earn a
living.
I have always worked digitally because of my interest in computer
manipulation, and it is a skill I have had to use in my work as a
magazine designer. It is only recently that the quality of digital
images has started to equal that of conventional film. Shooting
digitally also means that I can create different styles of image
from just one picture.
Colour is also something that I like to experiment with. I have seen
so many black and white images of the male nude that I wanted to add
something different to what's out there.
